Shawn Tucker's Lineage

Sifu Herb Parran, a 20-year St. Louis Taiji instructor, focuses on healing and wellness. He studied Hun Yuan Chen Taiji and competed nationally, now leading the Chinese Internal Arts Center.

Master Zhang, born in 1928 in Shandong Province, China, developed a passion for martial arts at a young age. After surviving the Japanese invasion and the Chinese Civil War, he dedicated himself to learning Chen Style Tai Chi, studying under several renowned masters, including Chen Zhaokui and Feng Zhiqiang. Master Zhang’s exceptional skills led him to immigrate to the United States in 1991, where he became a highly respected Tai Chi teacher.

J. Justin Meehan, a St. Louis attorney, is a highly trained martial artist with expertise in Taijiquan and Chinese Kung Fu. He has studied under renowned masters and has published extensively on Taiji.

Master Feng Zhi-Qiang of Beijing is a prominent master of great skill. Grand Master Feng Zhi-Qiang was born in 1926 in Hebei province, and passed away in 2012 in his late 80s. Grand Master Feng, was the Vice President of Beijing Municipal Martial Arts Association, President of Beijing Municipal Chen-style Taijiquan Research Institute and head of Zhiqiang Martial Arts Club. He is noted for his development of the Chen Shi Xin Yi Hun Yuan Taijiquan system.
